Control of systems modeled by PDEs

The aim of this course is to present several results related to the control of systems modeled by PDE. In particular, after a short description of the abstract control theory, in finite dimension and in the infinite dimensional setting, we will focus with more details on the case of the wave equation in the first part of the lecture, and on the case of the heat equation in the second part of the lecture, mentioning several different techniques all along including, among others, moment techniques, multipliers, micro-local analysis, Carleman estimates.
